Zen. Day 12

Oggi è stata una giornata decisamente zen.
Ci siamo svegliati con lo scrosciare della pioggia, che suonava come se qualcuno stesse versando l'intero Pacifico sulla penisola di Ashizura. Un rapido controllo del meteo ci informava che la pioggia era prevista su tutto lo Shikoku fino almeno alle 10 di stasera, col centro di bassa pressione proprio sopra le nostre teste.

Posti davanti all'alternativa di fermarci un giorno e gustare daccapo l'ottimo curry della signora oppure metterci in sella sotto la pioggia, abbiamo evitato l'imbarazzo di scegliere non appena saputo che il nostro alloggio non aveva camere libere.
Comprate due tute impermeabili dal Lawson e ricevuto consiglio dal proprietario dell'alloggio su dove pernottare e su come arrivarci, ci siamo messi in moto, praticando, come suggerito da lui stesso, la meditazione sotto la pioggia mentre pedalavamo sulla Ashizura Sunny Road (strada soleggiata di Ashizura).

Fatta la strada che ieri avevamo evitato, in poco più di 4 ore siamo arrivati a Sukumo, dove ora ci dedicheremo ad un po di turismo.

Today has been a really zen day.
We woke up with the sound of rain, sounding like someonr was pouring the entire Pacific over Ashizura peninsula. A quick check of the weather forecast informed us that rain was expected over the entire Shikoku until at least 10 this evening. Having the choice between resting one day enjoying one again the tasty curry or mounting on our bikes to ride until the next destination, we avoided the painful decision by knowing our lodging had no vacancies for the day.
After buying two waterproof suits from Lawson and having received advices from the owner on where to sleep and how to reach it, we set in motion, practicing, as per his suggestion, meditation under the rain while we cycled on the Ashizura Sunny Road.

We took the road avoided yesterday and in about 4 hours reached Sukumo, where we will now do some tourism.
