Stamattina siamo partiti con Seiyo avvolta nella nebbia che esalava dal terreno, e dopo una breve salita siamo scesi al livello del mare. Da li, tramite le strade 24 e 378 abbiamo deliziato i nostri occhi con valli e viste spettacolari sul mare fino all'arrivo a Matsuyama.
Dato che la 24 è poco percorsa dagli henro anche i gaijin come noi sono rari. Per questo motivo ogni saluto che scambiavamo era accolto con curiosità. Mentre scattavamo foto una signora si è fermata a parlare con noi, e saputo che andavamo a Matsuyama in bici ci ha incoraggiato in maniera gioiosa. Come riusciamo a capire pur non parlando giapponese è un mistero.

This morning we have started with Seiyo covered in mist exhaling from the ground. After a short climb we have reached down to the sea level, where through routes 24 and 378 we have delighted our eyes with astounding valleys and sea sceneries until our arrival in Matsuyama. Being the 24 not much used by henroes, gaijin like us are pretty rare. That's why any greeting from us was a source of curiosity. While we were taking some pictures, an old lady stopped by, and once learned we were cycling to Matsuyama she cheerfully encouraged us. How we can understand though not speaking japanese is still a mistery.
